Zoladz Construction is a family owned business dedicated to providing quality construction services. In 1981 Zoladz began performing pipeline, residential grading and septic system installation.

The corporate entity was formed in 1985. Our Vice President, Thomas D. Dougherty has been with the company since its inception. Over time the company has expanded in size and capability. In the 1980’s the company expanded its services to include site clearing, rough site grading and pond construction. During that time the company also started to provide trucking services for its own projects as well as servicing the transportation needs of other construction companies.

Since the mid 1990’s there has been significant expansion of services. Materials’ processing now includes concrete recycling, topsoil screening, large scale mulching as a result of large land clearing projects and from materials cleared at project sites; materials mixing including aggregate, asphalt and salt blending. A wide variety of trucking services are provided, including trash hauling from transfer stations to landfill, specialized equipment moving, and delivery of construction materials including stone, soils and aggregates.

Site development has continually expanded. The diverse services offered now include landfill cell construction and capping, comprehensive site development including all related grading, foundation work, utility service installation, paving including parking and roadway construction and curb and walkways. Recent projects have included the Runway Reconstructions and upgrade of runway lighting for the Olean Airport, construction of a new Aircraft taxiway at the Jamestown Airport, comprehensive site development for the new 250,000 square foot sales and support center for GEICO Insurance in Amherst, New York, Installation of an upscale residential subdivision in Lancaster, New York, Construction of new cells for the Chautauqua County Landfill and the Town of Tonawanda Landfill.

As technologies change and conservation of our natural resources gain increasing momentum through recycling alternatives, Zoladz Construction once again takes the lead in innovation and vision. Zoladz now specializes in Concrete and Aggregate crushing.
